Best place to buy a iCarsoft MB V3.0 for Mercedes-Benz/Sprinter/Smart

Hi I am looking to buy a iCarsoft MB V3.0 for Mercedes-Benz/Sprinter/Smart. I have seen them for around £150 inc P&P. Anywhere cheaper? I do not want any other make as I have used these before and I like them.

Yes is genuine and updated. BUT, I didn't think of that now we are not in the EU, I had to pay inport tax.

Yes but that was when we were in the EU. Any imports have to pay VAT and import tax now.

Well Royal Mail would not send it until I paid it, so done now. I can't find the letter as I binned it.

Don't claim to be an expert but I've imported a few boaty items from Germany since Brexit. The trigger value is £135. Below that larger sellers like Amazon should apply and collect UK rate VAT. But smaller sellers like my boaty folks just remove the German VAT and don't add UK VAT so even after postage you can have items sent here at a lesser cost than folks buying over the counter in Germany. However over £135 you trigger the full monty of VAT, import charges and a carrier handling fee.

I don't know who you have been dealing with when buying yours but it would appear you've been robbed!

I sent LJM an E Mail query yesterday and received the following this morning;

"Hello,

Thank you for your message. Our prices include VAT and our items are send from the UK. If you are based outside of the UK, your local customs authority may charge additional tax and handling fees to receive the item into your country. You should be able to contact them directly to find out how much this would be.

No I certainly don't think it was a bit late! you posted a query and I responded with good advice which included:

Nowhere in the discussion up to that point did you claim to have already bought one! and I most certainly didn't advise to buy from an anonymous source from a foreign country.
Have you registered the product with iCarsoft and updated the software to the latest version? I hope so, a genuine one is expensive enough without getting ripped off with an instrument that the manufacturers of genuine products won't support, it's adding insult to injury isn't it? Ooh yes and that last question was rhetorical in case you were wondering.
