Can anyone advise what would be the best way to sell (in the UK) a 1990 MB 190E with about 133k on the clock and full MB main dealer service history, 2 owners (last owner 15 years) and MOT please?
The car still drives fine, but is leaking a little oil.
I would just put in autotrader however it probably needs a new head gasket and to fix that would cost as much as the car is probably worth. It would be ideal for someone who can maintain their own car I guess and fix the head gasket themselves.

Any suggestions please?

I would use eBay, but beware of the scammers.
Take some good photos of the car, under the bonnet, and of the interior too.
Put it on timing the auction to finish at a weekend.
Be honest with your description but accentuate the positives, good bodywork, full s/h, length of tax, MOT etc. Last owner 15 years, but that your Mum is ready for a change. Say that it drives fine but has an oil leak. Let potential buyers ascertain themselves what is needed to cure the oil leak.
Put a sensible reserve on but don't be unrealistic.
Good luck. Don't let it go without receiving the cash first!
