Hi.. I have a 280SE Saloon 1971 in white.. it's out in California at the moment.. Moment of madness and I bought a car and my mate looks after it for me and takes her for a spin once in a while to keep it ticking over.. Bosch fuel pumps hmmm where have I heard problems with these before oh yes Porsches!!!

So do we have any other active W108 or 109 members on here? I have a few basic questions

one is where can I get the chrome or stailess steel sill covers from as I would like to tidy up my car and add some chrome wheel arch covers as well..
I think the sill covers seam to look to only have been fitted to Coupe's and cabs I could be wrong

also I am trying to locate some alloy wheels I have seen some I like and are part of the era 14" alloys and remember they were not expensive I did see some on ebay once but typical I thought I would get them later and guess what never seen them since..

Also where is the best place to get spare parts for these cars esp in the US might as well stock the boot for spares..

Picture oh yes here is the car..

Been a Porsche man for years but fancied a change and this was sensible money and looked nice and tidy..any advice would be great..

Please don't spoil a good car with chrome wheel arches.
