has anyone used this fuel and if so is it suitable for a 103 engine. Its octane rating is 106 and it's comprised of 85% Ethanol with 15% petrol, the govt's website says its suitable for older engines with adjustment where required

thanks

I haven't used it yet but according to some articles, there are some minor modifications needed before an engine can reliably perform to its best on Bioethanol.

My old P6 would have loved that 100 octane 5 star is what it was made for.

We have been warned here that any more than about 10% ethanol in petrol can damage the synthetic seals in the fuel system. Ethanol can leach out the the plasticiser in some seals (Buna-N seals, I think) so they harden and will not seat properly, resulting in leaks. You will need to check with technical people, definitely not marketers, to get a sensible response.
