No radio etc
Would or does it bother if you had to drive daily with no sounds in the car.
I've never had to do but find it very odd. There no power to at all so for the time being, no sound#

So as I said, would or does it bother you.

No, I have done it deliberately a few times in the past where I just wasn’t in the mood for all the noise and bullsh!t from radio and the personal music media.

Peace and quiet are underrated.

I never have music on in the car. I prefer to hear the mechanicals. As per @DSK I find the radio tiresome, preferring to listen to cylinders

If I’m on my own then I often have radio 4 on, just because I can’t really be bothered with music (repeats and commercials make music stations incredibly boring), but if I have the family in the car then it’s either music or just quiet, thankfully having the media pack for rear passengers on long journeys we can put a dvd on for the kid and she has her headphones on

When I bought my first car, it had no radio, when I bought my second car, it had no radio, when I bought my third car, it had no radio.............Radios in cars in NZ was an unaffordable luxury in the 70's for teenagers. However we took out the standard 4 or 6 cylinder engines and threw great big V8's in them without mufflers, hence no radios :D

I have the radio on occasionally, if I’m in the car on my own, but I could easily live without it.

radio is always on in my car .... I might not especially be listening to it, but it's just back ground sounds for me.

I recently sent the radio/head unit away for repair from in my Smart. I drove to & from work with my ear pods in connected to my phone

That's your choice though yes I've did that in the past but when it doesn't work that's different.

I guess it's mixed some don't bother others do. I guess if I had a v6/8 petrol it might be different but a crappy 4 pot diesel even a 6 diesel, nothing to listen in that hence a radio etc, just me though.

It’s funny , in this country always have the radio on . But if we do a France trip , radio goes off at Dover .

I cant not have some sort of music or chat on. Except when I'm trying to find somewhere, then it gets switched off because my brain cant cope with having noise and trying to locate something!

When we toured Europe in the early 2000's we used to listen to the BBC World Service on the 49 metre shortwave band in the car. Mercedes were one of the few manufactures the have a shortwave band car radio.
Not able to do it any more no BBC shortwave in Europe, & no cars with a shortwave band.
