Hi there. I am finding that when I start up the car, there is a definate wobble felt within the car, normally as I am reversing out of a space or the such?

Is this just a cold engine thing or should I be looking a bit deeper for an underlying issue?

This is as per the car in my signature, below :)

Thank you.

:)

Could be engine mountings but then again if the engine is misfiring on startup that might be the cause. Might be worth a tune-up before progressing further especially if the plugs and leads are the originals.

Thank you

Thank you for that.

I have actually noticed that this "wobble" effect is only when the car is at rest with the engine running.

Are the engine mounts something that would be covered via a warranty?

:)

It depends upon the warranty, there is one way of finding out ask the warranty company

Could also be plug leads - the V6 is twin spark so with 1 plug weak/missing, it feels a little out of balance without the full effect of a misfire. Mine felt like the brake disks were warped when creeping in gear.
