Black leather stitching

The stitching on my drivers seat as faded what do you guys use bring it back

Never done black but I used a red sharpie on my SL which worked a treat, just took a while

I had a slight scuff on the drivers seat side bolster on the piping which is anthracite. I used a tiny bit of very dark blue shoe cream on a rag and rubbed it in, left it for a couple of hours then did the same again. I then went over it with a clean rag to kind of polish it and it looks perfect. I've also gone over it with a piece of kitchen towel to see if any of the dye would be on it and it wasn't. It makes you wonder if the stuff you buy from the leather refurbishers is the same stuff in a different tin.
