Bleed nipple size on Front and Rear Calipers W124 260E

Need help to verify the size of the caliper bleed nipples ..I have check as much as i can ,,but come up with conflicting sizes . I think they are both the same on the front and the rear calipers so one size for all four . I get this size > M8 X 1.25 MM part number > A 000 421 2765 for all 4 nipples . And if this helps even more to find the right nipples ,,the vin number is WDB 1240262A941387 .Sorry calipers

Cant you clamp the rubber hose and just remove one to measure it , M8 x 1.25 is metric standard so if you dont have calipers and TPI gauges just get a standard M8 bolt and screw it into the caliper , if it screws down all the way you have your size.

If you remove it then you can also get the length you require as if buying them , not from Merc , you will need to know this also.

I wrap a bit of corrogated cardboard around flex and use mole grips with enough clamping force to just stop pipe dripping. Works for me 40yr.
Think 8 mm right. Not sure on 1.25.sounds unusually convenient for Benz.. wind one out and check. As above try bolt but do not force it in. Be prepared for bleed screw to be tight to shift initially

Thank you all for the help given .But it would be much better to find this nipple size to start with .Some one must have replaced them on the forum . I think i will hang on for more answers .I would purchase 4 from the merc dealers,, but i want to replace standard nipples with Easy Bleed nipples . The people selling them dont know the merc sizes to sell me the right ones and say they will need a size .

Good dib lostkiwi, but would that be for the front and the rears ? Still not enough info to go and purchase a set without knowing if all 4 are the same .It is silly really that the makers of these speed bleeders dont know what size is needed fits what car .

If you have the part number from Merc, why don't you order a set? Then you'd know for certain what size they are, They can't be much .... a couple of quid each? They could then just sit in a drawer for a few years

Also have a look at your local decent motorbike shop, mate of mine found SS Ducati bleed nipples were a perfect replacement for those on his 968 - and were SS not rustable!

I found the chart on Goodridge web site for these Speed Bleeders And they are four of a kind for W124 and the number is SB8125 LL And the original Mercedes W124 size is M8 X 1.25 . On the Speed Bleeder size chart they are all the same S B for all W124 range ,exept AMG . Looking at the picture of these SB8125 LL they are bit longer than most in the line up . And i will need to purchase from a motorbike shop ...Thanks every one for your help .
