Hi all, can I use a different make of brake fluid to bleed the brakes or does it have to be the Mercedes stuff ? Only I don't feel like paying £13 a liter when I can get some from opie oils for much less
Also is there a correct procedure for bleeding ? ie the furthest one first and so on ?

Near side rear first, then the of side, near side front then off side front, thats if the ABS pump is on the off side, if on the nearside then change the sequence. 8 pumps for the rear and 4 for the front.

You can use any DOT 4 fluid
