Blower regulator

Hi there,
I wonder if anyone can give me some advice i own a CL 500 , 1996 N reg and it has just had a 72,000 mile service at a Mercedes garage where i work. However i need a blower regultor as my climate control is not blowing properly, merc can do me a discount price of £155, however i feel it a bit expensive. Does anyone know where to get one, don't mind a second hand one really, or do you think its best to go new. By the way Merc/Bosch have now changed the regulator to a different one (old part No : 9140 010 099, new part No : 9140 010 512... Bosch part numbers.
The Merc part number is 140 821 83 51.
Any help would be appreciated

Hi Pollyperkins,

Sorry your out of luck I have one but the part number is 210 820 62 10 not alot of use to you I know! this is for a w202 c class, clk slk etc.

Are you sure it is the regulator????, I had this drama last week and went out and bought a regulator and then discovered it was the motor brushes and com were not comunicating properly!. If merc told you this it is probably correct if its a digital climate system as it will be fault coded (apparently). It might be worth a look though.
