I posted a while ago about the problem I was having with the clock & front internal lights not working. Somebody very sensibly suggested that I check the fuses, sure enough the fuse no 13 in the box (8amp) had blown. I have replaced the fuse on 3 occasions & after 2-3 days the fuse blows again. I wonder if anybody knows the likely cause. Would I do any damage if I replaced with a 16 amp fuse. In addition should there be a light in the boot as I dont seem to have one. could this be the cause of the problem ? where is the light/bulb located if there is one. I would be grateful for any help.

The boot light is inside the lip of the boot lid, not much use there!

As for repeatedly blowing fuses, dont stick a more poweful one in. Find the cause which I can't help you with except it presumably is something like a frayed wire/touching wire/loose wire....?

Check wires for boot lamp at hinge left side, they break inside braiding, and touch each other
