Blue Badge Blues

Here’s a sad story: in a difficult parking situation, I had occasion to display my blue (disabled) badge on the top of the dashboard in my W211.
I must have placed it awkwardly, because it shot straight down the small gap between the windscreen and the front of the dash and disappeared from view.
Has anyone any clue how I might retrieve it - or what I might have to remove to do so?

Probably a dash out job.
Easier to order a new one I would say.

Can you (or another) push down on the dash some, and maybe see the badge with a torch?
A long flat blade, hacksaw blade just maybe, with doubled over tape on it might catch it?

Thanks for the responses. Thoughts much the same as mine - especially the one about a blade and tape! The screen will need changing at some point, as it has a small crack, so might be accessable then. Can't imagine why MB left this gap.
