Good morning..
I have recently purchased a 2004 CKL 320 (W209) and am looking for advice as to the correct Bluetooth adaptor for this model (connection under the center console).
I've looked at various web-sites and it's a little confusing trying to pin down the correct adaptor, either OEM or alternative.
I would really appreciate it if someone could offer me some direction as to the correct model(s) etc.
Thanks in advance.
cheers for now
Robert

Hi and welcome :)

A pic of what you have in the center armrest would help. Also, enter your VIN into one of the many free Mercedes vin decoder sites to check your car has the telephone pre-wiring installed,

Hello and welcome,

Are you wanting music or just phone connectivity?

Hi Blobcat and thanks for the note..
Preferably both music and phone...but the phone would be the first option.
Would be interested in your thoughts
Cheers

MB Viseeo 4 was what I used in my W211. Gave great phone connectivity, but alas no music. Streamed music via the existing jack connector in the glovebox.

Give comandonline (forum sponsors) a call with your VIN, they'll look up the build sheet for your car and tell you which bluetooth adapter you need, may even sell you one - and as they know more about MB ICE than any main dealer, you'll get the correct kit. If you're in striking distance of J3 M3 they're in Lightwater Surrey.

It's not necessarily simple. Can't remember which of my cars it was (think the S204 rather than the SLK) but they tried different UHI (the connector in the centre arm rest) connector bluetooth adapters as with that I think your phone will connect to the car aerial giving better phone reception. Can't remember why, but they could not get any of the adapters to work with my car - although our phones still connect via bluetooth to the NTG4 so we have hands free and managed to also copy my phone book in - although I think that may have been a painful one at a time exercise.
