Does anyone know if it possible to retrofit a bluetooth card to the Comand unit of a 2003 E class. I'm not sure if new E classes have bluetooth, but the current S class does with a screen etc which is identical to the E class.

What do you intend to do with it - I have Bluetooth in my 2005 C Class but it doesn't actually do anything. You certainly can't hook up a Bluetooth phone (it recognises the phone, but that's all).
The salesman said they're all baffled by what it's for!

Thanks Rory,

I was hoping to be able to hook up my phone to it. My car was one of the last to come with a fixed Nokia 6310 phone cradle rather than a prewire.

My phone has since changed as the Nokia is now defunct so I was hoping to mate by bluetooth and still use the Comand phone functions.

The version I saw on a 2005 S class did recognise my phone although I can't confirm if it worked or not.

Any suggestions from the experts out there?

I think the usual solution is to get hold of another 6310 from somewhere - perhaps eBay if all else fails.

Thanks Guys. I'll take a look at the EIS/Argos system.
