Hi, my wife and I both have iPhone 11s and for the last 3-4 months we've been having major issues with the (factory) bluetooth. It connects fine, we can hear callers fine, but the person on the other end of our calls gets a terrible crackling sound and can barely hear us.

I took it to a service station, he fiddled around with it and said he was able to repair something that had come apart. He tested on his iPhone (10) and it worked fine. But when I tried mine again, same issue.

I checked my IOS and discovered I had not upgraded to the latest version, so I installed that, but the issue persists. Absolutely no issues with my phone or my wife's phone otherwise.

Any suggestions? I physically tried the mechanic's phone and was able to verify perfect call quality on his when connected to bluetooth. Just bizarre.

Thanks in advance.

Seems an iphone 11 issue. Have you tried a few other phones.
May need to report to apple and hope they provide a fix in the next ios update thats relevant for iphone 11.

was the issue non existent prior to 3-4 months.

And welcome to the forum

Thanks for your help. I will report to Apple.

Correct, no issues until about 3 months ago.
