W203 2005 C230. Just purchased a used Bluetooth cradle A2048200535. This was recommended by MB. The instructions I have are vague and I think not for the same model. But the bottom line is I cant pair with my Nokia 6300. The phone is recognized on the set up display and a code is generated but the next stage to pair with the phone doesnt appear. Is there anywhere to get the correct instructions or can anyone help me?:-:)-(

I know it is a nightmare to do, there is 16(?)-digit code that needs to be generated (or is it 12). But the instuctions are rubbish and the system is slow moving step by step. So slow you think the system has frozen though it hasn't. Best bet it is to pop down to a dealer, they should be able to do it for you

hi
take it back to the place you bought it and ask them to pair it for you. Is it SLR cradle or EFP with both you need to make sure that your phone is set correctly. just looking back at you post i notice you quote a 204 part number cradle for 203 should be B7****** check it with parts ,

Right number and cradle. Mercedes at Redhill were very helpful and sent me down copy of instructions, unlike my local dealer who wanted to charge me for three pages! Worked within three attempts. Thanks for the advice!

Hi Andrew
when you insert the bluetooth phone cradle there should be a blue light signal from the cradle, press down on the blue light otherwise there will be no connection made, then search through your phone menu for connectivity, when pairing the phone to the cradle use the code 62872 this should work for you if not contact me

Managed to get it paired so thanks to all for the advice. Now I need to know how to get it to automatically connect when I turn the ignition on, I have the phone set to auto connect but it just wont happen. If anyone has the answer I would be really greatfull. The phone is a Nokia 6300.

That is a setting in the phone. You need to set the phones Bluetooth to automatically connect.

If your phone is switched to bluetooth then it SHOULD ! auto connect with device in the car. Mine works okay, no problems:p
