Bluetooth Cradle

I have a 2006 C class and have the MB phone prep. I currently use a 6233 in the cradle (In the centre armrest) and want to upgrade my phone. Is the Bluetooth cradle any good i.e does it sync with the phone address book and work the same way as the hard wired phone kit

When I had my C class (same year) I wanted to upgrade my Nokia 6310i to a newer model. Solution was using the MB SAP Bluetooth device. Hideously expensive, but very good. Uploads your phonebook, sms and puts your phone into sleepmode so no drain on battery (this module does not charge the phone).

Great thing and sound quality was excellent. Very costly though at £300!

Btw, new phone was Nokia E51.... great little phone.

Ask your dealer, they have lists of what phones work or not.

Agreed - plus I think the Viseeo is actually a better device than the merc one. It is software updateable so has a level of future proofing that the MB one doesn't.
