Bluetooth for W211

Hello

I have just bought a 2007 E220 CDI Avant Garde which does not seem to have a phone or a phone module. I would like to have an integrated bluetooth system in the car and wondered if there is a head unit I could buy that would connect to the steering wheel.

If there is, does anyone have a model/part number so I can hunt one down on line.

Hello and welcome,

Inside the centre armrest is generally a connector that you can get a Bluetooth module for - this will only provide phone call functionality.

If you have the iPod interface (connector in the glovebox) you can get a Bluetooth module that will provide music streaming.

Quite a few change to Eirsin head hints to give car play / android auto

Hi and welcome to the forum. There are a number of youtube videos that show how to change the existing head unit for a new Android version. There are quite a few on the market but do check to see the spec and features like Apple Car Play/Android Auto.

The 8Gb ram make this a very nice spec.
Try to be from a UK stock though, it is easier in the long run if you need return it.

We have a similar type thing with 7" screen and 4g Ram, it does nicely.
