Bluetooth media

Hi not really sure where to post this but here goes, I can't seem to consistently play media through my E Class, my phone Pixel 5 is connected and recognised by the head unit but for some reason it keeps saying audio device is paused which is not correct. I've tried everything bar contacting the dealer, any suggestions anyone, thanks.

The phone's not on some sort of battery saver mode by any chance? If not done already then try using another mobile phone to work out if it's the car or the mobile.

It did the same thing with my S10, no battery saver applied, keeps saying it can't find the phone, then it connects but won't play music. I've tried it another way, I play music then turn the head unit on and the music sometimes plays without sound or doesn't connect

on lots of cars need you to authorise future connections automatically - the secret is to watch the thing like a hawk when first pairing - and say YES when it pops up
