When I bought my car around 6 months ago I paid about £300 for a bluetooth mobile phone module which sits in the centre armrest.
It worked OK except occasionally would go off line & by removing & refitting it would work again.
Finally got round to taking it back to MB Direct to try to get them to sort it & they said it was the wrong module for my model mobile.
As I was in the process of upgrading my phone the've ordered me the correct module for my new phone(with me paying the £123 difference).
So I take it from this experience every time I change my mobile phone I have to also buy a compatible bluetooth module?
I've tried my new phone & it doesn't work with the old module.
Guess I was fortunate that they fitted the wrong one in the first place!

Sounds strange to me, I've paired everything all of the following to my bluetooth cradle; 6210, 6021, 6230, 6300, PDA, Blackberry & N95 and all have worked.

There are only 2 types of MB bluetooth handset. The HFP that is just a simple interface and the SAP2 cradle that takes over and is effectively a phone. There are compatability issues as the phone manufacturers don't seem to be able to get their act together and stick to a standard.
However - have a look at http://www.comandonline.co.uk/home.php?xid=0e27b7d78304d099c11afafe6f2ba49d
They seem to have a good list of compatability.
Personally I think when I finally change my phone (I have a standard cradle at the moment)and switch to bluetooth I'm going to get one of their Viseeo cradles rather than an MB one. They seem to have much better compatability and are software upgradeable so you're in with a chance that it will work on new phones too.
