Hello and welcome, It wil be a matter of reomoving the bumpers and side skirts,, having the new ones sprayed up to match your car and then re fitting.

When you are ready I can give you some info on what has to be removed and how to

I reckon the other costs will be at least that again. Just make sure you keep the old bumpers and stuff to put back on when you sell it. I've no issue with personalising cars but the modded Merc world is very small and this will devalue the car. The safest route is AMG add ons but I suppose you want to stand out.

Welcome by the way :)

AMG add ons are available from MB but are really expensive. People prefer these as they are factory approved for the car and would not put anyone off buying it. Look at pictures of an E55 / 63 and you will see what I mean. If you were to buy the kit from MB and have it fitted by them then your warranty for bodywork should still stand. If you start going down the non-MB route then they will have plenty of reasons for getting out of paying any claims, and owning a modern MB can be a lottery in this department.

Well as Stumpy says the AMG kit is the official MB version, do pop into yor local MB dealer and pick up the AMG book.

One thing to offset the price with the AMG kit is that it comes ready painted, and you could leave it on there when you sell it and your original parts that you take off will sell well on Ebay

Very sound advice. The OP will need new wheels too to complete the effect........

The parts may be OK but that firm has a rotten name for driving customers cars around for a few hundred miles at a time, I do not know if they are better now

Hi,
Welcome to the forum,
You could try e-bay as there has been a few AMG bumpers etc on it recently. Or even Dronsfields or Mercman (MB specialist breakers).

We had a locked thread on this firm for some time, owing to the complaints

You can only tint to a certain degree to be within the law.

The firms that do the tinting know how far you can go and match what you have already
