Body kit

Hi there....


Hope there is someone out there that can help me.

I have a June 1997 registered clk 320 elegance and I am trying to locate a supplier of a full body kit that I have seen pictures of but cannot locate anywhere on the internet.

The kit has wide front arches and a complete rear end wraparound spoiler but it has full depth side panels which I can only describe as looking like the side of a Ferrari Testarossa. The kit looks like it adds some 8 to 10 inches to the width of the rear and about 4 to 6 inches to the width of the front.

There are pictures of the kit fitted to a car on the website www.carstylingtips.co.uk under the heading of 'gangster' style wide bodied mercedes but no details of who supplies the kit.

I have spent many thousands on the car and the kit and the wheels are all that i need now so PLEASE..... can anyone help me?

The 80's are alive and kicking in my local carpark. Spotted this wideboy SEC and its in better than new condition. The interior (sorry for crap pics) was mint with a red leather on every surface. Great 80's BBS wheels with zero marks on them and a great paint finish.

The conclusion of that thread was that the bodykit was made by Willi Koenig:

Unfortunately (or fortunately if you like) Koenig designed the kit in the 80s and doesn't do a W208 CLK version.

I have also seen something similar on an E30 BMW made by Rieger but again, times have moved on and that sort of style has gone well out of favour.

I wish you luck finding something but I think you've got your work cut out.
