Bodyshop in Reading/Berkshire?

Can anyone recommend a good bodyshop in the Reading area? I have a w124 coupe with rusting wheel arches that I'd like to get sorted out.

Any advice on the best course of action to fix this problem is also appreciated.

I've had a quote from Specialised Paintwork on J12 M4 for £100 per arch. The job they will do is to grind out the rust and respray just the arches, so there will be a visible paint line. The proper job would cost £££ so I'll probably go for this approach. I'll let you know if its any good when I have it done in the next couple of months.

What colour is your car - it wouldn't be azurite would it, because I was thinking that whilst he has the paint pot out he might as well do two cars for a discount.

There is a company in Reading that will get rid of any rust and respray,
They have an oven and Mercedes in Reading used to use them before they were bought out.
They are called Wigmore auto's. 0118 941 7886

Suki - Thanks - I called Wigmores and they said they were now just doing BMW so didn't seem too interested in quoting for the job.

Don't understand the response you had from Wigmore. They are the official bodywork centre for Severnake Mercedes in Newbury and Swindon. They have just returned my w210 estate having undertaken warranty repairs on behalf of Mercedes Newbury. They have also quoted me for some bodywork on my r107.

I have used Wigmore for years and can not recommend them highly enough. I suggest you call again and ask to speak to Peter. Good luck.
