Bonnet badge for C207

Hi Folks,
I am very new to MBO and would like to pick your collective brains about a simple matter. I would like to change my bonnet badge on my 2011 C207 but I am finding it difficult to get the type of fitting on my car. This is a simple 2 point grommitted type so the badge simply pushes in. I have seen many replacement badges for sale but they all seem to have a spring loaded affair or it looks like the star type needs a large hole in the bonnet to enable this to fit.
Before I shell out my hard earned I would like to know if there are options to fit various types of Mercedes badges without major surgery to the bonnet. Any advice or experience in doing this would be appreciated.

Mercedes dealership will have the correct badge for your car and it’s guaranteed to fit.

Dont mess about with aftermarket copies in the likes of ebay. Cheap chrome and plastic and fittings.

There should certainly be no need at all for any surgery.

Make sure mating hole is clean (good seal) a good time to apply a dab of waxoly around the hole - a known weak spot for bubbling.

As noted MB dealership to get whats right. If you ask nicely they may send a tech out and fit it for free.
