bonnet badge was snaped off at the weekend.

been looking at egay but i dnt knw size of the hole... anyone got any ideas?

its a W140.

Go to your nearest MB dealer they will supply the right one and if you ask nicely they may even fit it for you FOC. The price will be similar to ebay and you get a genuine one which is correct for your car.

i was wanting the part number soo i can order it online and have it deliverd. havent got the time to go car garages.

Don't forget to wire the new one to a taser device. This will of course primarily be to dry any wet leaves that foul the star, so they automatically fall off.

Call your dealers parts department, quote your VIN and I'm sure that they'll give your the part number. Last time I bought one it was about £12.

my dealer runs a delivery van.

i order by phone, pay by card, they bring the parts to me ....its great!!

£16.40 and the dealer has it in stock... but i wonder if they will fit it for me.

Easy to fit just bung it in the hole and turn the bottom bit til it locks.

My vandal broke the star out and the star slashed his hand, badly if the amount of blood on the bonnet is a guide to severity of injury.
