Ever since i have had my 190 i have had a small, but irritating piece of red wire sticking out the grille. It pops out when i pull the bonnet catch inside the car. I then pull this to lift it.

Anyone know the rough cost of the proper lever that should be there?

The bonnet shuts and locks ok, its just the bit that pops out the grille i need.

cheers

i would like to add that the wire was fitted by the previous owner...hence me not knowing really what should have been there.

looks like ill have to save the coppers for that one then!!!

I propose a trust fund be set up "Save the Bonnet Catch"...its gonna be a winner i guarantee it...and you can trust me because i am a financial adviser!!! :-(
