I have been looking for the front bonnet acrylic clip-on paint protector for my 1997 C180, but cannot find any of these anywhere in the world. Doesn't anyone make these? They all do for the Japanese, Korean and some European cars, but why not for the Mercs? I drive on highways and some country roads and get the hell from stones flying off car and truck tyres ahead. Has anyone here tried the 3M Invisi-shield clear stick on film from the USA? Been told it looks very good when just put on, but how long will this look last with the hail of sand and stones the car gets? How about heat from direct Summer sun and cold Winter nights? Let me know if any problems arose after installation. Thanks buddies.
