Boost charge pressure fault

Hi I am new to this site I have got a Mercedes sprinter 311cdi 2002 an it is in lhm I have tried a few things but getting no boost at all I found a broken wire at the boost charge pressure control so repaired it but still no different I keep getting fault code p1622-8 can anyone help in anyway thanks

Did you clear the code after the repair, maybe a silly question

Hi yes before I repaired the wire I was getting p1470 code but that doesn't show now my glow plug light comes back on after start up if that's any help it is really stressful it says fuel cut off switch when Google the code
