Boost pressure fault

Hi this has been a pain for a while I've got a mercedes e220 2013 w212 there's been a boost pressure fault the last few days car goes into limp mode but for life of me I don't know where this one is to swap out is it the one on the right hand side as your looking at the car next to the fuel filter under a silver box don't know what that's called sorry the code reads p023628 boost pressure sensor has a malfunction any help would be appreciated thankyou

Possibly the map. But mb faults can piggy back from component to component. Can you get live data for the exhaust back pressure sensor ?

Exhaust back pressure sensor is 1.02 stationary goes upto 3.4 plus boost pressure does not move 0.80

You have om651 engine. Boost pressure sensor next to air box at front, on small bracket (from memory)

So just a update for anyone else having this issue it was the one on the right hand side of the engine under the black box part bought the new sensor ripped my hands apart getting the old one of and the new one on but now it seems quicker than ever all issues have now gone cheers for the helps

I have the same issue so happy to read your feedback. Is the one you replaced the same part number as the one at the air box? If they are the same I’ll do them both. Cheers. J
