help went out this morning and my boot lock doesnt work. the key wont turn-the whole lock pushes right in. central locking wont open it. i can get to the boot through the rear seats (lucky) how do i go about getting the boot open so i can look at the lock please. regards ken to get at the lock first you have to open the boot because the bolts are underneath

try a bit of wd40 soaking in over night then try again. other than that i dont know.

Just a thought, I wonder if you lock is working but your boot lid is stuck. I had a similar situation to you recently and thought the lock wasn't operating but in fact the boot lid had just stuck down to the sealing rubber. A good tug up on the lid itself while pushing in the plunger got it open eventually!

i had the very same problem .. just do as lackofgrip says and soak it with wd40 or loose oil .. mine works fine now...
