My 1998 w202 C180 was fin, but now the boot lock does not function on central locking, will not work from console switch or fob, rear interior light ,boot light and reversing lamp non functional. I have checked the fuses, are there any hidden ones lurking? Is there a relay which controls these items?Any help gratefully received.:(

This is the vacuum system and that boot is vacuum locked

The vacuum pipes do come off or become a lose fit, so do check those, electric cables can wear out and break at the pivot points arond the boot hinges, though this should have nothing to do with the rear lights or reversing lights

I would check the vacuum lines as malc says, they break in the hinge and cause failures.
