I didn't even know that I had a separator until I tried to put the hood down yesterday. For the life of me I can't get it to move. Any ideas please?

Hello and welcome

The will be a handle in the middle of the boot separator, you need to grasp it to open the catches on both sides then pull it towards you and down into the lower position.

It needs to seat securely in the lower position to close a micro switch that tells the car that there is now space for the roof to fold.

Many thanks. Finally found the bit to pull. Embarrassed to find that it was even there. I can now put a suitcase in the boot.

If you have the manual for the car bring it inside to the smallest room and have a read through it :D
