My first post on here but I was wondering if anyone could help.

My boss had given me the task of trying to sell his 2001/2002 (can't remember) Brabus CL 67. Just thought I would post here to see if anyone had any ideas or pointers of how to go about selling this as it is obviously quite a specialised car.

It has the full engine conversion, body kit and full interior conversion. Silver with Black Leather and red inserts. Can post some pics if wanted.

He's only selling as has just bought a CL 63 Brabus Bi-Turbo.

Some pictures would be nice. I would park it on the road with a handwritten for sale sign in the window, that is the cheapest method.

I have attached some pics. Sorry they aren't great I will update with some better ones in a couple of days when it has been cleaned.

Not too worried about cost of sale, within reason, just trying to find the best way of attracting people who would be interested in such a car as I imagine there would be a limited niche market.

Thanks for the help, keep the ideas coming :D

If I had that too, I could use that on rainy days or most of the year.

Not enough room in them fezza things....Think I'd be looking for a specialist forum for the CL though. Several about like PH, or even Compucars.

The CL or the 360?

Only the CL as its the same colour as my SL, and I would not have to buy another colour touch up pen, its a matter of keeping the cost down down. :D

haha, getting the priorities right! The new Brab is acutally going to be black, I much prefer the silver but each to his own I guess.

Looking at a new SL in black I cant get my head around it as being nice, every finger print shows. I think the CLK looks fine in black, could be the exrta chrome. We will have to start a thread on this subject.

Malcom can I not tempt you with the additional seats then? ;) Not too far from you either in Bristol.

Out of interest what would the market value be for a car of that calibre and don't forget the cost of the towbar for the esso tanker that'll you need to tow behind you.

Ask him if he'd be interested in a swap for a 1983 w123 diesel, with a BRAND NEW air freshener.

Anyone care to guess what it would be worth? I think it was approx £70k new, £70k on conversion which was done with delivery miles from new, less than a third now

Round about the 40-45K mark, dependant on miles, condition & history.

Way too specialised for a lot of people, and servicing costs must be horrendous :(

Thanks Blobcat, do you have a link to that one? Was it a dealer or private, wouldn't mind selling it to a dealer just need one specialised enough to take it.
