Hi Folks,

Has anyone fitted the Brabus Diesel Kit to their 320cdi?

If so, how do you rate it? Is it worth the £1300 for extra power? Is there a noticable difference in power over the standard setup?

Thanks.

Hi Julian,

Interesting thread there. Does seem like it makes a decent performance increase then in the real world going on what NewMB says.

But also some other important factors were raised that has made me think taking them into consideration.

Hmmm, some definite pros and cons..

Not yet mate, still thinking about it. I probably won't end up doing it because it is not very often I get to open up the car anyway and at times I do your out of road before you know it and back on the brake again.

I don't know, still in two minds!!

I've driven one & yes, there is a difference. Quickest diesel I've even driven. Also seems quicker than an E430 (210) V8 petrol.

Considering there is only 0.2secs difference between a E320CDI & a E420CDI in standard form 0-60, I can well believe it. :D

I have had the chance of trying with an M3, an Audi RS4 and could easily keep up with both. The latter was very quick.... but with the Brabus kit - I have more torque, which counts. Not a 0-60 run. Best one so far was a E320 Cdi trying....

Yes, £1500 is alot of money.... + insurance cost. But it is good fun and you only live once.
