Always liked Type R's used to have an FN2 years ago, but particularly like the latest FK8 model, I'm thinking it's probably now or never, I know, not many, if any, of you on here, will like these, but hey we're all different I s'pose, this is the car I'm interested in.

I’ve seen the production line snd I know the people doing the paint on them. All I’ll say is, I would have ten years ago, but I wouldn’t now. Honda Europe isn’t what it used to be (not so long ago) unfortunately.

They're certainly distinctive. Used to love my 2.2 Vtec Accord company car (my choice) back in the early - mid 90's.. The 98 Accord Type R was on the list to replace but I left the Company....

You can always sell it again if you get bored of it..

No, those where the Vtec only engines, these are Vtecs but have a Turbo, so a tad more civilised if you like, but still Rev to 7000 rpm.

I looked at them when I got the i30N. Only things that put me off were the "slightly" OTT bodywork (would have to have been a black or grey car), the 45L fuel tank, and the "any choice of interior colour as long as it's red!" (I gather the infotainment/audio is a bit cack, too).

Dynamically, quite a car!

Undoubtedly more reliable than an MB though
