Thanks, for that, Russ, but the FK2 is not as good as the FK8, apparently, going off what I've read and watched.

And none are as good as a C63… but is that going to stop you…

The only problem with that is that it is a completely different model based on the ninth generation Civic, and is not what SmartAmg is interested in.
The FK2 was only in production for 2 years before the all new FK8 based on the tenth generation Civic was released.
I was never particularly attracted to the FK2 but I thought the FK8 looked great.
The FK8 was in production for 5 years so not surprisingly sold many more than the FK2.
The FK8 is widely regarded as the better car.

An ideal time and maybe the last opportunity to step into a Mercedes V8 before they go the way of dinosaurs.
Anything around £20 -22k and you are in pre facelift E63 bi turbo or W204 C63 territory.
I'm sure the Honda is great, but I'd go for either of the above long before the ricer.
