Brake Disc continues problem

Replaced 3 sets of brake discs in 3 months
Now replaced discs pads hubs and from alloys and I think the shudder in the brake pedal is coming back again
S350 D 2018 model

If using genuine Mercedes parts there is a warranty on them but it sounds like another problem rather than just crappy discs

Within what mileage is it happening and do you have distronic?

Hello and welcome,

Have your cleaned the face of the hub? The smallest amount of rust will cause the disc not to sit flat and cause shudder.
Also check the slider pins and that the calliper is free to centre on the disc

Are the wheel bolts being torqued correctly? They are very sensitive to bending hubs if the bits are overtorqued.

Have the pads and discs been bedded in correctly?
Best to try and do it immediately after fitting rather than relying on driving style.

someone on here ( and more no doubt ) had this issue and as blobcat suggests , the hub / disc mating surface needs to be spotless when fitting new , it certainly was the cure in the past , its a stupid problem but i think you should try that first as its free and easy to do

Yes and tightened in a 'Star Pattern' and not around the clock.
