Brake hoses

Hi just after some advice has anyone changed there front rubber / flexy hoses for the braided ones if so would you know how much they were and the length of them and why did you change them ? and are they any better or worse or no difference between each one.
Also were did you get them from ?.

A don't no just thought if a needed to replace them was it worth up grading or just replace with the same ones thanks.

You probably need to inform your insurer that you have 'modified' your car. Otherwise, you might consider braided lines with a black outer sleeve (rather than clear) to hide the fact they are braided?

If you change a part from OEM standard it is a modification
Whether they are better or not is arguable but importantly, something an insurance company could use to get out of paying out.

I purchased BF Goodrich braided brake hoses from PFS parts in Wellingbororough As the rubber ones were getting a bit past it, makes me laugh about insurance companies and there stance on modifications, if you make something safer to drive in the long term what is the issue?? Oh silly me its just an excuse to bleed more hard earned money out of us!
