brake light beeping an saying workshop

i ahve a mercedes e240 w reg an recently had all the brake pads and discs changed and sometimes while driving on da dashboard computer thingy flashes and beeps an says abs an visit workshop does anyone know why?

I had the same prob about a month ago, i took it back to the garage and all it was was an ABS sensor hadn't been pushed into the pad fully.

since then no probs, hope this helps and it's nothing more major.

The brake wear sensors plug into the pads, the ABS sensors plug into the hub,no direct relationship between the two, unless they disturbed the ABS sensors while working on the car.

brake light beeping and saying

Its most probably a brake wear sensor wire problem, if they have just changed the brake discs, take it back and make them check it. When we change the pads or discs, the brake wear sensors should always be changed. The heat from braking bakes the sensor wires and when disturbed by repairs they become damaged.
