Brake light switch

Hello
When i start the engine warning ESP visit workshop comes up been reading in forum first and cheaper thing to do is changing brake light switch so i had 1 from ECP and i went to replace it but when trying to take of the old one there was not a switch I called MB to check with them am they told me my car doesnt have 1 My question now is if is any part which has replaced the switch the car is C 220 CDI 52 reg 6 speed manual gearbox

2002 SL500, 216 CL500, all fully loaded
Yes the manual cars do not have one,, best to get the fault codes read to see which of the 2 ESP sensors has failed

Some are built into the brake servo.

As malcolm says best thing to do is get the fault codes read.
