Hi All,

New to the forum, and I know this has probably been discussed a million times but...

I have above mentioned w201 2 litre auto. Goes fine except brakes - okay generally, but the run to the station in the morning leaves me with smoke coming off the brakes and chronic fade. have replaced plenty of pads in the years i've had it - originally let fastfit do it for an extortionate sum, however ran through 2 free sets of pads within the guarantee period, after which I was not made to feel welcome anymore! They felt there must be a problem they could not find....

I bought some vented disks from ebay - APEC DSK552 for a good price, but assume I need to get different calipers - however there only seems to be one caliper type listed in the parts section of Eurocarparts, although the vented disks are definitely listed for the car. there is a difference of 11mm between the two types of disk.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

I would guess that the calipers that fit the vented discs will be the same as the calipers for the 190E 2.5-16v.

Due euro list calipers for that model?
