Hi Guys,

Have a Mercedes ML350 (2015) where the amber circle with an exclamation mark has come up on the dash board, it comes and goes but have noticed today the brakes are not as sensitive. Having for the car scanned, the following errors were returned:

- C108214: Component B64/1 (Brake vacuum sensor) has an open circuit or short circuit to ground.
- C2B2A00: Component B64/1 (Brake vacuum sensor) has an internal fault.
- C2B2100: The vacuum system is not leak tight.

Has anyone every come across these before? Having done some research there hasn't much that has come up about it.

Thanks!

New one for me, but there must be a leak in vac pipe to the brake servo or the sevo I leaking internally. Do double check the wiring to the sensor before replacing any parts though.

I'd also check the values of the sensor to ensure the vac leaks errors are not spurious!

Thanks fella. It's going back to the garage on Tuesday so think they're going to run some checks on it. If an parts in this area do need changing, are you aware if its an expensive job?

If it's a petrol as Alex says.
If it's a diesel it could be as above or a failing vacuum pump.

If possible, please put up a picture of the brake servo and the pipes in that area, especially the non-metal ones. Thanks.
