Hi all has anyone experienced vibrations braking down from motorway speeds ? At first I thought it was a warped disc so I had the discs and pads replaced. 2 months later same thing, thought it was faulty parts so replaced them again under warranty 2 months later same vibrations are back. So now I think it might be a sticking caliper but I can't feel it binding the car rolls freely ?

Have you rasied the car to see if the calipers are binding when turning the wheel

No but it always seems to roll freely when it goes into park or neutral. I'll jack it up on my next day off and spin the wheel see if I can hear anything

Yes I had vibration and pulling to one side on breaking then the other on accelerating . Solution tyres knackered and replaced and properly balanced. Failing that check wheel bearings.
Also worth checking suspension for worn joints or even suspension shocks for leakage and springs for obvious cracks and failure

Or Possibly engine/gearbox mounts? Does it happen on deceleration if you don't actually brake?

Yes do that, anything with 2 tonnes of momentum will appear to spin freely

All input is greatly appreciated, maybe it took 17 years to to realise tyres knackered and replaced and properly balanced.

Update on the brakes. The garage done some investigation and both discs were warped. He believes it's using aftermarket parts so I've put some genuine mercedes discs and pads on so we'll see how it goes

Thanks all for the advice.

^ The amount of trouble aftermarket parts cause on premium brand cars are not worth IMO
