brakes bumping

anybody have a suggestion .i recently garaged my E 320CDI for about 8 weeks and when left it was perfect
when i returned and took it out there is a pronounced bumping (like abs) from front offside wheel when braking.braking does not seem affected however
just wondered if some rust had built up on disc whilst stood
any help appreciated trev

This sounds like a disc has gone and warped,, this does happen with cast iron sometimes. You can see if it is rust on the outside , but not on the inside, easy enough to change

Hows about the possibility of a failing tyre with an "egg" on the side wall.
