Have seen a few old threads with the same problem - but no easy solutions.
The rear seat lever (passenger side) pulls up but doesn't release the seat. I guess that the lever has become detached from the unlocking mechanism. The plastic block beneath the lever doesn't pop up either as it should when the seat is unlocked.
Could be easily fixed – just need to reconnect whatever has become disconnected. Problem is how do you get to it? There doesn't seem to be any way of getting inside the seat back. Is it possible to prize the plastic trim off the top of the seatback without snapping anything?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
