broken key

hi i just bought a a140 and in not more than 2hrs ownership i have snapped key blade? off the the remote is it poss to replace blade if so any tips would be helpfull ie, where to get replacement blade and how to do it thanks

Thers a small roll pin in the fip out part which allows the blade to be removed from the black part, dont know if or where (apart from mb) you will get a new one!

hi thanks for replys the key is part of 2 button remote , ican see what looks likr a roll pin in filp out part is this pin one ,or is it 2 pins 1 each side??

The blades cost about £40 from MB, there are 2 versions of the key, I have the details somewhere on changing the blades, on the 1995 ish version you spit the case, it just pulls open, and you fit the spring and button in the new key
