Have any M class owners had a problem with the plastic seat surround (on the base of the seat) breaking? Its the part that houses the electric seat controls and memory controls and is essentially a plastic trim cover that hides all of the wiring.

If so, any ideas on replacement cost? Any pointers in the right direction would help!

I have no experience with the ML, but I did have a similar problem with the S Class and for once was surprised at the price from the MB Dealers.

The plastic surround for the side of the drivers seat, £16.

They quoted £30 for fitting but it was very easy to fit, and took about 20 mins.

Thank you very much... I had considered the dealership but thought less of it, but now I may well look at this avenue. Thanks again.
