I have a 2011 ML 350cdi and accidently put the steering wheel back on 1 turn out. After turning sharply the ESP light came on and diagnosis reports a steering angle sensor fault.
Can this part be repaired or must it be replaced?

Ben.

No, you have broken the ribbon cable inside (physically in two probably). New unit is the only way to go .
