Build sheet from number plate

Hello, I'm sure this has been asked many times but how do I get the build information from the registration number as opposed to the VIN?

I only have the VIN decoder but have seen information from the number plate.

No worries, I came across it the other day while searching for something else. I was told however that the site isn’t always on for some reason

The dealer used Oasis Vehicle Enquiry. The returns were the same but the English a little clearer but one or two things were missing.

Hi, I'm looking for a build sheet for an S500 that I'm interested in KM16LXD. The dealer (not Mercedes) dosn't seem to know, or can't be bothered. Had a look at checkmyreg but that only gave DVLA info. I was wanting the build sheet that gives the complete build breakdown ie options etc. I do not have Vin. Just wondering if anyone can help. Thanks

Have a look at the botom corner of the winsdreen for the VIN and pump it in a von decoder.
Alt ask the seller to send you a pic of the vin, also counf on B piller sticker.

A dealer who doesnt know how or isnt bother seems a bit crap.
