Bulb Out Warning light 300SL (107)

I have the bulb out warning light showing on the dash when the side lights are turned on, nothing when they are off. I have checked every single bulb I can find but all are working ok, any ideas?

Sure you have checked the lot, including the number plate bulbs etc?

If it's not the number plate bulbs, check the wattage on the bulbs.

It may be worth cleaning up the contacts on the bulbs and fuses as well.

I had this problem recently. When I removed the number plate bulbs, they were slightly darkened & checking with a meter showed different resistance readings. I fitted 2 new bulbs of the correct wattage and the fault cleared.

Thanks for that. Start with the number plate bulbs and then progress round the rest I presume, some how I think this could be a long job.
